You will have access to our out-of-hours emergency dental service if and are a patient of the following Dental Practices:
- JLR O’Donnell Dental Practice – 1 Liberton Brae, Edinburgh
- Battison Dental Care – 26-28 Mains Street, Davidsons Mains, Edinburgh
- Ballantine Dental Practice – 91A John Street, Penicuik
Our on-call rota of five dentists over three dental practices are available for advice and, if necessary, an emergency call-out to the practice that the on-call Dentist normally works from.

When does this service operate?
- Monday – Friday 6pm to 8pm
- Weekends/Public Holidays 9am to 6pm
How does it work?
Call us 0131 664 4768 outside of regular office hours out of hours and leave your name, phone number, and some information on the nature of your dental emergency on our voicemail.
The on-call dentist will call you back to discuss your emergency. If the dentist is already on an emergency call-out, it might take up to two hours (in rare cases) before the Dentist is free to get in touch with you.
